We have 50 acres of homegrown pumpkins (courtesy of Post Farms) so you can find your own personal favorite to take home. Walk through the patch and explore, as you find large ones, small ones, and ones that suit you just right! There’s a pumpkin perfect for everyone!

Admission includes: Marana’s famous Corn Maze, jumping pillow, diesel train, farm playland, plenty of rides, mini diggers, pig races, paddle boats, mini tractors, and more!

Boo at the Zoo

Reid Park Zoo
October 20 – 22, 27 – 29; Entry time to 8:30 p.m.

Dig up your zombies and grab your ghouls! Show off your boo-tiful costumes at Reid Park Zoo for a delightful, not too frightful, family friendly evening at Boo at the Zoo, presented by Lloyd Construction! You’ll have an enchanting time with the whole family at this Tucson Halloween tradition. Proceeds benefit Zoo animal care, operations, and education programs.

  • Say “Cheese!” during meet and greets with your favorite characters from princesses and pirates to     superheroes and movie and storybook figures!
  • Cackle with the whole family through silly skeleton scenes.
  • For the bravest of the bunch, visit spooky scenes for a little fright in your night, sponsored by Crandall Glass.
  • Giggle with ghoulish games throughout the Fall Festival Zone.
  • Alien Alley: Is it Alien or Animal?
  • Get a candy bag for children as you leave the Zoo and there will be a few spots to safely trick-or-treat at candy stations inside the Zoo!
  • Wear your costume and strike a pose in the Pumpkin Patch, sponsored by Apple Annie’s, with pumpkins galore!

Not Too Frightful Fridays

Trail Dust Town
from 5 to 8pm on Friday, October 11th, 18th, and 25th

Looking for some Halloween fun that isn’t too spooky? Trail Dust Town is excited to bring you Not Too Frightful Fridays! Join us from 5 to 8pm on Friday, October 11th, 18th, and 25th!!!

The celebration includes $8 unlimited ride wristbands good for the special Halloween train ride, Ferris wheel, and scavenger hunt. You will also enjoy the 5:30pm mini costume parade around the gazebo, trick-or-treating at the rides, the Pistolero’s Haunted Halloween show, and fall-themed drinks and snacks. Costumes are encouraged!

Apple Annies

Pumpkin picking is open daily last weekend in September to October31.

Pumpkins are an important part of fall here at Apple Annie’s.   
Journeying into our pick-your-own pumpkin patch has become a timeless family tradition for many of our families who come to visit us year after year! There is something so satisfying about finding a vine of gorgeous, orange pumpkins and claiming that as this years’ perfect pumpkin. 

We grow over 40 acres of pumpkins each year and by the time fall comes around it is a sight to be seen!  Rows and rows of beautiful,orange pumpkins, from mini pumpkins to extra-large;  with 25-30 different varieties of pumpkins, including the very unique WARTY pumpkin,  you are bound to find that perfect one for yourself!

Hayrides to the Pumpkin Patch

Come and take a wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch on one of our wagon spulled by “Sweet Bippy” our Farmall Tractor or one of our many green John Deeretractors.  You will get a mini tour of our beautiful farm with the Winchester Mountains or Mount Graham in the background.  You won’t bedisappointed by the beautiful scenery that surrounds our farm. 

Hayride Pricing

$5.00 per person, 3-103 years old!

Not into taking a hayride… grab a wheel- barrow and take a peaceful walk out to our pumpkin patch to find that perfect pumpkin! 

Pre-Picked Pumpkins

For those of you who do not want to pick your own pumpkins we have bins FULL of perfect pumpkins under our barn you can choose from.  Feel free to browse through them and around our vintage wagon to find your perfect pumpkin.
