When are more districts opening up?

I am a local business and I would love to reach more families. How do I work with you?
You can become a friend in many ways! You can get started by creating your business profile and making your first free listing, that way we get your company recommended on your site!
If you are looking for more Digital Marketing services to greater reach your target market, you can find upgrade add ons and Friendship packages available in your dashboard.
Do you recommend all the businesses on your site?
We are not a recommendation site and are purely an information resource to help you make the best decision for your family. If you are looking for businesses that people like, be sure to search by number of favorites. If you would like a personal recommendation, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your district’s District Director through social media or shoot us an email at hello@theplaydistrict.com and we can connect you with them.
Why can’t I find a specific family friendly business?
We try our best to add all the listings in our district, but it is hard to catch them all. The listings are actually submitted and run by the businesses themselves, that way you always receive up to date information straight from the location. If you want one of your favorite businesses to be listed be sure to tell them to sign up with The Play District. All businesses are allowed a free listing on our family guide.
What ages do you cater to?
Our main focus is families with kids ages 0-12 years old1

Here at The Play District, we believe every family is different, thus can have different experiences. We provide all the information for you about the business, so you can make the best decision that fits YOUR family.
I am a grandparent, should I make a profile?
YES! This resource is great for any caregiver, family member, friend who is looking for things to do with kids in a city.
I don’t see my local District and would love for you to open in my city. Can I do anything to bring this resource to my community?
You can do 2 things! Submit your recommended District here. Or if you are interested in starting The Play District where you live, submit a form to become a District Director!

Yes! We love to hear this! The Play District is a community based resource and we rely highly on those within those communities to support it. One great way is to contact your local Play District and inquire about being a Circle Member. Circle Members are select members of the community who help create content for the website and social media and help support The Play District and our mission to take the time out of planning and back into having FUN!
