Our Why 🧡

We are parents just like you: searching for endless hours trying to find activities, places to eat, to get their energy out.  We wanted to create a resource that takes all the time out of planning and worrying and puts it back into PLAY.  We strive to create a family resource that reflects and is based on the input of the community. Thus, The Play District was born!

Supporting Community & Small Business

Families First 💛

We are making it easier for families to find things to do in their community by providing them with a personalized search experience. We understand that every family is different, and we want to help them find activities that are perfect for their interests, budget, and location.

We are revolutionizing digital marketing for businesses by making it easier, more efficient, and more cost-effective for them to reach their target audiences. We provide businesses with the tools they need to cut through the noise and connect with families in their community.

Meet Our Founder

Katie Yaeli 🌸

Entrepreneur, Chauffeur, Snack Distributor

As a mom of two young boys who loves exploring her city and traveling to new destinations with her family, Katie noticed a significant lack of resources for finding family-friendly activities and dining options.

Determined to make planning outings easier for families like hers, she founded The Play District. This platform is a one-stop hub for discovering exciting things to do and places to eat, all curated with families in mind.
