Zoo
Reid Park Zoo is a mid-sized, family-friendly zoological park that is home to a variety of animals from around the world – many rare or endangered – including elephants, giraffe, bears, reptiles, primates, big cats, and birds, among others. The zoo offers daily giraffe feedings, as well as carousel and train rides, an indoor conservation learning center, educational programs, animal encounters, and special events, including the popular Boo at the Zoo and ZooLights Holiday Magic. Meet the newest additions to the Zoo – pair of tiny blue duikers, a small antelope native to Africa. A new sloth exhibit will be opening in August and the Angel Charity for Children World of Play adventure zone will open in October 2023.
Dig up your zombies and grab your ghouls! Show off your boo-tiful costumes at Reid Park Zoo for a delightful, not too frightful, family friendly evening at Boo at the Zoo, presented by OneAZ Credit Union. You’ll have an enchanting time with the whole family at this Tucson Halloween tradition. Proceeds benefit Zoo animal care, operations, and education programs.
Timed entry only: To make sure everyone has enough room to spread their bat wings, tickets to Boo at the Zoo will be sold with entry times this year and must be purchased in advance.
